Ladies of the Triangle Theatre

LoTT is a gender parity advocacy organization formed in July 2012 by Devra Thomas and Sylvia Mallory as the result of a gathering livestreamed by HowlRound.com"A Female Look into North Carolina Theatre in the Triangle Community."

I joined as Research Director to collect and analyze season selection statistics.

I currently serve as acting curator of the group and site as Thomas and Mallory have relocated.

Bold Maids Productions

Bold Maids was a theater company formed in 1996 by myself, Marla Brown and Kelly Rowett. Our first production was Kate Bornstein's Hidden: A Gender (Hyde Park Theatre). Our first original work was The Three Faces of Ophelia. Or, What's a Nice Girl Like You Doing in a River Like This, an exploration of Hamlet from Ophelia's perspective informed by feminist theater theory.

Between 1997 and 2003, we wrote and performed six original scripts and produced five plays at various independent theater venues in Austin, TX; Chapel Hill and Durham, NC.
